Does anyone like Jon McLaughlin? I read an article about him...and I am really intrigued by the description of his music: "piano-centric". Before I buy a cd, I would like to hear any comments about him!

10 things I will never do again...

10. Graduate college (at least not with a Bachelors degree)
9. Buy a strapless dress (you may see me wear some already purchased, but they really annoy me, and honestly, aren't very flattering in my opinion)
8. Assume something is easy
7. Try Wasabi or eat black licorice
6. Live in Bowling Green, Kentucky (a wonderful college town, or if you are older and retired, but there isn't much there other than Western)
5. "Wing it" when cooking (there was a pumpkin roll incident that went very wrong...along with many others)
4. Debate a topic that I don't care about
3. Think flowers are pointless (from someone you care about, they most definitely are not pointless...and yeah, they die, but they brighten your day for the time being)
2. Think being with my parents is lame (like we all did in middle school)

High School Musicals

So my friend, Katie, has been telling me for the longest time to watch High School Musical (because we are those girls who, at times, never really made it past teenagers when it comes to our movie tastes). After Hairspray, I was like I must see it! Well I Tivoed High School Musical 1 & 2 this weekend and I loved them both. Plus, my crush on a 19 year old has grown, haha!

Hopes

I hope to moving very soon, and I am leaning toward Nashville! Here are some things I want when I find a place of my own!! These are from Urban Outfitters. There will be more added at a later date.

Birthday Fun

It was my good friend Tabor's birthday last week!! On the night of her birthday we caught a movie: No Reservations (pretty good, but far to sappy for all of us who aren't crazy about relationships at the moment). Friday night, we went to Jean Ferris Winery in Lexington and did a wine tasting. It was fabulous and so much fun to have good, all-girl time!! This was the party of six who did nothing but make me laugh and smile...thanks girls!


There are very beautiful girls here, but Tabor (love her name) is the gorgeous one in the middle in the green. I love her and I love all of these girls!

Hairspray Fun

So I finally got to go see Hairspray tonight with three wonderful girls! I love making new friends, and I have the feeling that I might have made a few tonight. The Movie Tavern in Lexington might be one of the coolest movie experiences I have had. If anyone hasn't been, and wants to, let me know! I mean, you get to eat while you watch a movie (and this is real food we are talking about, not just "snacks"). I have already made plans with my friend Marcus to go sometime soon!

Oh James Marsden here is in Hairspray...and I have pretty much had a crush on him since the Notebook and X-Men.

A new crush might be developing on Mr. Zac Efron here. He is only 19...is that wrong of me? He is just such a cutie. Now I must see High School Musical like my best friend Katie keeps suggesting. Perhaps I will be purchasing that very soon!

Michael Stars

So does anyone own some garments made by Micheal Stars? A girl I used to have fashion classes with when I was in college (wow, still can't believe I am completely done) swore by these. They are one size fits all and apparently amazingly comfortable. I am about to invest in some, and sadly, I am completely excited about it!! (And gorgeous is this model?)
