Get Well Soon Little J

My best friend Jenni had gallbladder surgery this past week. I can't wait for her to feel better! In addition, she is coming to visit me for my birthday soon!!! The sweetest girl deserves a speedy recovery. I miss our commentary Little J, heal quickly!!!!

Phantom Sequel...Gerry Returns?

I am a most definitely a fan of The Phantom of the Opera!! Word is, there is a sequel in the works. Will Mr. Butler reprise us with another appearance as the phantom? I sure hope so!

Obama for Office

It was announced this past week that Obama officially won the democratic ticket. I could not be more excited!! We need change, and we need hope, I think Obama is ticket. (I am not posting this to raise any sort of debate. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, it is just my personal opinion that Obama is the one we need in office).

My love for Jon Stewart has done nothing but grow over the years. Not only is he funny and quite entertaining, he is insanely intelligent. I am not a fan of the "news", probably has something to do with my degree being within the school of journalism (when you know what is behind the scenes, perception has a tendency to change). I appreciate good journalists and journalistic efforts, but I do not appreciate bias. Having said that, if a show is structured around opinion in an honest approach, I have no qualms there. I only disagree with news programs that claim to report both sides, but then do not deliver. Or, simply report negative stories on end.

Basically, if you like to be informed in an entertaining way, tune into 'The Daily Show' with Jon Stewart. Those who appreciate comedy, smart comedy that is, will appreciate this show.
