Shower Time

So, one of my best friends, Patti, is getting married in December, and I decided to throw her a lingerie shower. Problem is, I have NEVER thrown a shower, and there are no other bridesmaids here to help (nor do I know them very well), so it is all up to me! AH!
has a bunch of cute, beautiful shower and wedding invitations. There is much more of a selection online, but the invitations I ended up buying aren't online (they are super cute though!). So, I need suggestions/help as far as decorations and games go!

Grey's Thoughts

I am like Miss Lexie Grey, not only is she too cute for words, but she is quite similar to Meredith as well. Meredith has had it rough, but she could be a little nicer to the girl.

McDreamy is always, well, McDreamy. Is it me, or has he gotten even more gorgeous? He just gets better with age!! Apparently he and Meredith just can't seem to call it quits.

I am ready for the season, and I can't wait to see what happens next.

Your thoughts on new characters and last night's episode??

My wonderfully beautiful friend Kristen has started a blog, YAY!! I am so excited. She has great taste in fashion & decor, plus she has adorable little Max (pictured with her below). Her blog will be one to read, of this I am sure!!

Her son, Max, should most definitely model.

Me and some of my wonderful friends (including K) at Max's 1st birthday!!

Viva la Cure

These shirts designed by Juicy Couture are available at Saks where 100% of the proceeds go to the Entertainment Industry Foundation Women's Cancer Research Fund. The Fund helps to advance scientific research into better detection of breast and other women's cancers. I want one as soon as I get enough money for one!

Good Luck Chuck

I went to see this movie last night, and it was too funny! Of course, I love Dane Cook and Jessica Alba, so I knew I would like it! There were a lot of sex scenes that I could've done without seeing, but anymore, it doesn't seem to be a movie unless it has at least one!

Oh Seth...

Most of you have seen the video of Chris, the Britney fanatic, this is Seth Green, telling all to leave him alone. I love Seth Green.

I L-O-V-E Fall Clothes

I might be the biggest J Crew fan around, I would honestly buy everything there if I could.

I love this color and I am a fan of big thick scarves.

I am probably one of the biggest hat fans around.

I really want this coat, SOOOOO BAD!

Cute sweater dress.

These would be sooo beautiful under a sweater.

A Giving Search Engine

This search engine allows you to specify a charity (in your area or any others that are participating) and for every search 1 cent will be donated to that organization. How cool is that?? Please use it!

All of these are from CutesyGirl, and I love them all! Shoes are wonderful.

Pushing Daisies - Extended Preview

This show is coming this fall, and I must say that it definitely intrigues me. I might have to tune in to see what it is all about.

Chris Brown @ the VMAs

Hands down, the best dancer I have ever seen. This performance blows me away! AMAZING is what he is. I would love to see him live some time.

Fun Finds

I have had lots of time to surf the net lately, and I really like all of these things from Etsy.

I really like this painting.

My Nannie

My grandmother, "Nannie", passed away this past Saturday September 8, 2007. She will be greatly missed. A wonderful lady, with a life story to keep you mesmerized for hours. She was born December 2, 1917 and saw it all : The Depression, The Stock Market Crash of 1929, World War II, The Bay of Pigs, the Vietnam War, September 11th, the War in Iraq, and much much more. Her love story alone is one for the books: 65 years married to the husband she met at University of Kentucky; they actually got married 6 months before he was sent into WWII, where he stayed for 3 years. Nannie will forever be remembered by those who knew her best, and our love for her will go on forever.

New Haircut?

I try to find people with similar hair texture as my own when making a decision. Rachel Weisz has very similar hair to mine. Mine is wavy and out-of-control! It is really long now, but I get bored, and tired of doing it, so I am debating cutting it, A LOT! Thoughts?

iPhone Price Drops

The price of the iPhone has dropped. 4GB is now $299 and 8GB is now $399!! Maybe I can get one now?! My brother is planning on it!

Matrix Reformation

So I have never been a fan of The Matrix, and I am not sure exactly why. Last night, some friends of mine do a "movie night" and I attended. The pick was The Matrix, and I now really like the movie. Maybe I just had to see it a few times?

Michael Stars L-O-V-E

I posted before about Michael Stars, and I now have 2 shirts and I absolutely LOVE them. They are one-size-fits-all and could possibly be one of the best investments I have ever made clothing-wise. I can't say enough good things about them. All I can say is, they are totally worth the price tag! These are most likely to be my next investments (whenever I can save up the money!!)...

On the website you can find a boutique near you that sells them (in case you want to try them on) or you can order them on the website. In Lexington, Worlds Apart and Cotton Patch both carry Michael Stars.

Promise Rings?

Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron wear promise rings on their right ring fingers. They are simple bands, but I am sure they mean much more to them. I can remember when I was younger, I thought they were so lame. Now, I think they are pretty sweet. A nice step for those not ready to commit to an engagement, but want some kind of mutual symbol that both can share. What are your thoughts?
