My Nannie

My grandmother, "Nannie", passed away this past Saturday September 8, 2007. She will be greatly missed. A wonderful lady, with a life story to keep you mesmerized for hours. She was born December 2, 1917 and saw it all : The Depression, The Stock Market Crash of 1929, World War II, The Bay of Pigs, the Vietnam War, September 11th, the War in Iraq, and much much more. Her love story alone is one for the books: 65 years married to the husband she met at University of Kentucky; they actually got married 6 months before he was sent into WWII, where he stayed for 3 years. Nannie will forever be remembered by those who knew her best, and our love for her will go on forever.
