Melanie Mauer, a wonderful photographer who I did an amazing internship with, blogged about this not too long ago. While I have no kids, and won't for quite some time, I will do my best to keep these in mind (and hope they still make them) when I do have children.

Baggu is Good

PLASTIC BAGS & THE PLANET The average family brings home 1,000 bags every year. Most of those bags end up in land fills. That really adds up - 100 billion plastic bags are sent to landfill in the US each year.

In landfills, it can take up to 1000 years for a bag to decompose. Plastics don't biodegrade, they photo-degrade, breaking down into tiny toxic pieces that contaminate soil and water or harm wildlife.

Every time you use your Baggu bag instead of plastic or paper you are doing something Good.

Using one Baggu for one year replaces 300 to 700 disposable bags.

Work, Work & More Work

So my life seems all work for the moment. I work all day, then I come home and work on my new place. I am blogging again (for the moment) and so excited about it!!


Love these bags, but I think I am actually going to purchase some different ones. Reusing the same bags instead of getting plastic ones every time is such a wonderful concept.



Just purchased all of these curtains for my new place, YAY!
