What I loved about this movie, besides the gorgeous and talented leads, was the message that she shops because for just a moment, she gets some pleasure in this otherwise grim and unhappy world--that look on her face when she gave him the speech about why she shops, maybe that putting on a scarf makes her feel like someone new, someone better and changed, for just a second, just made me teary. But I love clothes too, so maybe that's what got me. hee.
